More than meets the eye

Here a few images to help with the latest poll – inspired by Mike.
It was a great movie. A little too much GM, but I just might be slightly biased. Who is your favourite? Can’t wait for the sequel.

Black Out

Bumble Bee

Frenzy

Iron Hide

Jazz

Megatron

Optimus Prime

Nice one buddy. Best post yet. I voted for prime but I do have a thing for Star Scream. Megatron is pretty cool though, I was tempted to vote for him. Julie voted for Bumble Bee.

  2. Monica says:

Sorry for my forgetfullness, but who is good and who is bad, then I can vote. Obviously haven’t seen the movie yet and grew up a little before Mike was really into them!

  3. chris says:

Google is your friend Monica :-)

If Bumble Bee was still a VW I would have voted for him, but I just can’t vote the Camaro. It was Prime for me too.

  4. D. Huber says:

Bumble Bee, of course. It appeals to both my entomology side and my American sports car side.

  5. chris says:

Hey D, did you hear that 3 of the top 10 “American” made automobiles are Toyota’s?

  6. "Mega"-Matt Heide says:

I am a big ironhide fan. I agree my first complaint was that there were way too many Gm vehicles it was like a commercial. I read an article that Bumble bee could not be a vw because the volks at volks would not give the licensing to a violent movie.

  7. D. Huber says:

I’d bet that that’s true. Isn’t there a plant in CA? I seem to remember that when we were there.

Well, I’d love it if Toyota would make a ‘Vette- or Mustang-like something or another… anything in the works? (not that I could currently afford it, of course, but maybe some day – J says that I can buy a big ol’ sports car some day, but no Harley’s :)

  8. D Huber says:

So, having finally (!!!) seen the movie, I still have to say Bumblebee. Not only is he (it?) a Camaro, which is oh-yah cool, but he’s also the real hero of the movie.

(Well, other than the John-Cusack-look-and-act-alike kid, who actually made the entire movie half decent and only half campy.)

But, I suppose the campiness was supposed to be there, right? In that, the flick certainly succeeded.
