Spring = Snow

We’ve had strange weather this spring. I knew it was snowing last night but I certainly wasn’t expecting this. Here is our backyard this morning.

Spring Snow

It’s not that all the snow had melted already, but come on, those spruce trees look like they need Christmas lights. The deck was bare and dry before last night.

If it’s not melted today, I’m plugging the lights in tonight.

    There is no snow here in Calgary. We were out riding bikes today and in our spring jackets!!

    Yeah go ahead, rub it in. We’re going to go and make a snow cave and do an ice sculpture.

    it’s funny, yesterday i saw a guy shoveling his lawn onto his driveway and road, now he’s shoveling his driveway onto his lawn. go figure…

    Just to make you feel a bit better… I am sitting here watching snow from our Richmond sky. If it’s snowing at our house, you know it’s bad seeing as we live at sea level and we often don’t get snow when others do. It’s not even melting right away when it hits the ground. Ridiculous.

    We were playing in the warm sun at the park today…how is the snow??

  6. chris says:

    The snow is still here. The deck and driveway are bare again though. I’m think that we should see backyard grass in 2 months!

  7. Mike and Julie says:

    Funny, today I saw a guy take grass snow removal to the next level. He rented a bobcat to clear his lawn. I think I might bring one home from work on Monday. I will do lawns for $100 a piece… any takers?

    I’m feeling like Christmas lights may be the only thing that will lift my weather spirits at this point! I say if there is any more snow, we all light up!

  9. chris says:

    I’ll do it for sure Monica. If it snows, the lights go on.
