It always seems like a week is a decent amount of time for holiday. By the time it’s time to head home you wonder how it went by so fast.
Here’s a quick run down of our week spent with the Breedvelds.

Our first activity with the kids was a trip on the Sky Train to Science World. As good as Science World is, the kids love riding the Sky Train. If only we could keep Joel from wanting to lick the glass so much.
Once we got there there was a lot to do. We spent most of our time in the Eureka Gallery.

Our next trip was to Steveston for some harbour atmosphere. First on the agenda was a walk on the wharf to PaJo’s. For the uninitiated, Pajo’s is a fish and chip place right on the wharf. Sorry Jim, but it’s the best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten. After the meal we let the kids have at it on the playground. It was a great night.

Next was a picnic at Ryell Park on the holiday Monday. The playground and water park were great. For a holiday it wasn’t busy either.

The next adventure was a walk through Burns Bog. It is beautiful and creepy all at the same time. The first picture below is a complete tractor. The rest has sunk in the bog.

Our last big event was spending the day at Centennial Beach. It was a perfect hot and sunny day. The tide was out so there was lots of fun to be had hunting for crabs and clams.
Thanks again Brad and Carolyne. We had a great time visiting.

You can see our Summer Holiday Gallery here. It’s a little more fancy than the Flickr set.

Great pics! Joel keeps wondering where Hannah and Joshy are. We had a great time with you guys too! You’re welcome anytime, although with all the ice-cream and other yummy food I’m a little scared of getting weighed at my next appointment!
