Today was Cedars’ Science Fair. There were lots of great projects including the Grade 1 Penguin exhibit and Hannah’s “Pumped-Up Plants”. Hannah’s experiment was to determine if giving plants double as much fertilizer as recommended would help them grow or kill them. Note to gardeners – don’t use double the fertilizer if you want healthy plants!! She won 2nd prize in her class and her best friend Miya won 1st place. Congratulations girls! It was a great evening but I’m relieved it’s over. I think science fairs take a greater toll on parents than kids.
This is Josh’s own home science experiment. Always following in his big sister’s footsteps… It was very cute – did it all by himself. Note how he spells dropped “jropt.”

Wow, we are so proud of both of you, you both did really well. Uncle Mike didn’t ever do a science project in grade school and he got a degree, what will you two achieve… the sky is probably the limit.
That’s awesome Hannah and Josh!! Wish we could have come to see it! I loved science fairs! I can’t believe Mike never did one! I tried cooking a hot dog once with a light bulb…. not overly successful.
