This weekend my office had our annual kick off party. This year it was a road trip to the Hills Health Ranch near 108 Mile, BC. In spite of the lack of snow there was a lot to do. We headed out Friday afternoon and arrived just in time to have dessert and watch the tube run.
Saturday was a full day. We started with a big breakfast followed by a sleigh ride.

The sleigh ride took us to a teepee next to a pond. We had a nice wiener roast lunch and Hannah took part in her first geo cache discovery. Josh was more a fan of the pond.

After the sleigh ride it was time to hit the tube ride. It was quite iced up, but that did not stop the kids. They loved it.

Next up was a magic workshop. A great magician came in and taught us how to do a few tricks. Everyone really enjoyed this.

Next up was dinner. The kids started off the buffet, and we were entertained by a full magic show during dessert.

To top it off the kids got to spend the evening at the pool. On Sunday we were able to sleep in a bit, and let the kids hit the pool again. It was a really great trip.
That looks like a fun time you guys had. Though the tube park didn’t have much snow I think it still has more than Cyprus Bowl.
Fun!! I didn’t even realize you were going there!! Got some good tricks for us J&H??
Mike & Julie: No kidding. They even had a snow maker. It just wasn’t cold enough to use it.
Monica: Really? Whoops! Even Frances and I learned the tricks.
See, you can teach thirtysomethings new tricks!!
