Today we spent the day snowshoeing at The Ancient Forest about 115km’s east of town. We like the hike through the giant cedar trees in the summer, but I have to say, I think I like it better in the snow. The only thing missing was snow covered tree branches.

At the waterfall. There wasn’t much to see here this time of year. I did get to test out my Gorillapod from Frances though. It held my camera to a tree without too much trouble.
All in all, a great hike/snowshoe. Now it’s time for a rest.
